Is this a new keiki in my Phalaenopsis? Female
Default Is this a new keiki in my Phalaenopsis?

Hi everyone,

My Noid Phalaenopsis has already two Keikis attached and I've used some keiki paste on some nodes. Now I started to look at one of them as this purple little thingy does not look like a root to me (at the bottom of keiki). So is this a third keiki? Wow, poor momma plant if it really is. Momma is in bad shape due to root rot and is recovering on moss.

Its a keiki and the older ones are already forming roots. The paste triggered the rapid growth. That also happens if the mother plant is stressed and dying. I hope you help it recover.
