Just an update....
This is the second time this has bloomed for me. It takes two years for this to bloom. It grows about a foot or so the first season and then pouts. Then about Nov it starts growing again and this is what it looks like right now. I just hope it blooms this season and doesn't wait. ha!!! Anyway here is my shy darling. And here are a few others to preview. This should be LC. Gold Nugget but maybe not. It's been hiding in the back for awhile. It took a turn for the worse when I pulled it off the palm tree it was attached to at my old hovel. Then Oncidium Leigh Teak. That's all I have to go on. Picked up at a show a few years ago on the donation table for 1$. And a noid Phal. Started off with black rot on the leaves. Has taken some time to get some decent leaves and this is the first decent flowering. Yes I am bored tonight. Hope I didn't bore you to tears. Just a few coming along in my GH. It's gonna get cooolllldddd tonight. They say down to 42*f. Now where did put that extra blanket???

Some of us would kill for 42*. Instead we get snow and sleet and a low of 14*. My orchids are all indoors, but my partner's carnivorous plants are suffering through yet another freeze this winter. Fortunately they are all native or adaptive and shouldn't be harmed by this.

Your orchids look great, as usual, James. In the second picture, what is the pink orchid in the foreground?

Beautiful!!!
42°s would be a warm spell that I would welcome!!! I would put on my 2 piece and sunbath!!! Lol! It's been so miserable and snowy that I've forgotten what grass looks like.

Beautiful plants. Nice as an amateur to get a taste of what it's like on the "inside" and see other species.
BUT BUT But I'm replying to say:
42! Are you kidding me! How about 13 for tonight, 26 for tomorrow and 4 tomorrow night!!!!! Tough it out! LOL LOL
42 right now would be a God send...
Cheers, I hope it blooms for you!
Lotis
