Some of you may remember a few years ago I inherited some very old and neglected cattleyas from a wonderful orchid grower named Belle Garner. One was named after the WWII General Patton. This was originally named C. Joseph Stalin until his heinous crimes against his own people were brought to light. Only orchid allowed to be renamed by the RHS. Anyway, I just wanted to show the size of this catts flower. Very impressive. And it smells wonderful. So here is....the incomparable..... C. General George Patton. (drum roll.....)
