James is right on this one. Large commercial orchid nurseries force the plants with optimal conditions on all fronts. Unless you can duplicate these, you may never duplicate the quality of bloom which was on the young plant when you first bought it. However, if you grow the plant well to increase it size, you will get increased flower count and possibly large flowers.
