And as the French girl said: I can understand the situation, but I fail to see the problem . . .

But do you re-flower those you bring home every year? That would be wonderful. I like them all.

I am sufficiently pissed now, you are so lucky. Looks like you got some lovely ones. There are a few I would just love to have :(( beautiful water garden and orchid. What are your Phrag's?

Temper, Temper now. ;) I plan on taking pics with names, just as soon as I catch up. And plan on starting with the phrags, because they are my newest experiments. Stay tuned.

Good question. Most of them, yes. Anything cattleya-esque seem to like my environment/style of care. Oncidium types, similar but I struggle a bit more.

For some reason I have trouble with dends, so I avoid them now.

Tolumnia I struggle with, but now manage to keep them alive and starting to grow, so hopefully blooms forthcoming. I've tweaked and tweaked what will work for both them and me, and it's getting better. I've always liked them enough to keep putting forth more effort.

The milt (pansy orchid)... this is my second. The first one, no. Decided to try again with a different location and medium. It was given to me with encouragement to try again. And this one is very fragrant. We'll see.

The paphs... most likely will be easy to rebloom. I started with one last year, and it grows like crazy and has rebloomed. The phrags... my first attempt upcoming. Hoping they will be as simple as the paphs. My friend's first passion is phrags, and I'm working with him to develop a better growing medium for his, thus I must have some to experiment with.

Then unfortunately, there are always a couple or three each year that succumb to dogs or squirrels or benign neglect over the summer. :((

Overall, I try to grow what I get; otherwise, I'd just buy cut flowers.
