Help with Vanda Male

Haha the kitten bonsai is a fake, don't expect to get a kitty in a bottle for Christmas!

The betta one could be real though, sad but bettas seem to be mostly kept in small containers.

Tanira, I think to make your plant happier, you can remove it from the vase, and follow the links Buds! provided. It should be alright to keep the roots in the vase, take note to give space for leaves to grow!

This is most likely Ascocenda Princess Mikasa 'Blue'. If it isn't, it's a different cultivar of Ascocenda with Vanda coerulea in the bloodline.

It likes cool to intermediate temperatures.

I like mounting Vandas onto a log or a tree (if it can grow cooler outdoors) without medium, they look nicer and neater that way. Plus you can skip a day or two in watering if you're busy without problems. Or the other option would be to grow them potted in a clay pot with diatomite.

They need to be watered everyday during this time of year. Heavy growth is occurring right now. My Vanda coerulea is growing new roots all the time at this point in time.

Bright indirect light is the way to go. Moderate to high humidity helps (50% to 100%).
