cymbidiums spiking or new growth
Default cymbidiums spiking or new growth

I have 2 cymbidiums.
1 was purchased in March and was blooming then and the other in Dec. as a gift and it was blooming then. Now both are either spiking ????? or showing new growth????? at almost the same time. I live in Oh. and they are near our SW facing sliding door on floor in a sunroom. What should I be doing? Also noticed at our Home and Garden show miniature cymbidiums. Are people more successful with them or are the growing conditions about the same??

Most likely new growth.

Some "miniature" Cyms don't require a cool period to initiate spikes, but otherwise care is the same.
