Oops! Kittehs and plants don't always do well together! Others will probably have better advice on the baby, but I would have put it in a small pot with smaller bark and maybe a plastic clear cover to help humidity.
Gorgeous kitty! Devilish little look on his face. They can create all sorts of havoc and we love them, still. He looks like a lot of fun!
I have a blue fescue plant that my feral dumped kittens thrashed. It was funny (and sad) to see how they loved to abuse that tuft of grass. It's still hanging on though after one kitten found a home and the other grew up, but it's never regained its former glory!
