Just be aware that this type of plastic is easily compromised by UV light. Some day you will pick one up and it will shatter. Best have at least one "pot" ready to use at all times.

So I switched to glass because of plastic photo degrading. Not all plastics will degrade fast but all will degrade over time. Glass is much heavier which is both a blessing and a curse. My plants never tip over due to a breeze but they give your arms a workout when watering if you haven't carry them

Have you tried other bottles? I reuse wine bottles:




One uses the top (vanda types specifically) and one uses the bottom (neo, also a vanda but they seems to like sh too).
