Well today is a sad day today. One of my favorite orchids surcomed to death. The Dendrobium Phalaenopsis one that we all were trying to figure out whether it was a Dendrobium Phalaenopsis or Dendrobium Noble was the one who died.

I went to water my orchids today and saw the den.'s new growth was limping and so I touched it and mush. Panicking I felt the other canes and they were soft too.

I just wanted to let u all know.

Thank u.

I bought mine at an orchid show last march 2013 ,it was already bloomed and i was told it was a rare species orchid , since than it had a group of 6 phesudo bulbs so i split it in 2 , 3 each , both are growing new roots and each of them are forming new bulbs , i am thinking it might be another year before it produces spike and flower but it was beutiful.

Too much water and not enough air flow. Low light levels. That equals death. Sorry.
