Ooh. Ok.

The pic was taken yesterday. So it hasn't changed much since then. Its a light green color now. I'll post a pic of it.

I'm going to cry now. The tallest cane is now down to one leaf at the top that's it. I'm not going to move it or touch it anymore until watering.

The new growth looks good.

Besides losing leaves, how does the big cane look/feel? Green, firm?

Did this take a chill, or maybe gets blown on from heat?

The big cane is firm as a rock and so r it smaller older canes. All r a nice green color. It got a chill but no lower than 50° in the back bedroom. It is now in the warm livingroom in front of a window. South facing again.

I wouldn't expect 50 for short periods to be too cold, but for longer periods it's possible it might be...

From your description, sounds as tho other than dropping leaves, the plant is ok.

Well, all orchids shed leaves with time - but in this case, I think something happened to cause it to drop them prematurely - whether that was being too cold, getting warm dry air from heater blowing on it, or something else, I don't know - but sounds like the cane itself is ok, and seems as tho the new growth is also ok, so I think the plant over-all is also ok

When I brought it to a better lighting place to take it pic I notest two leaves on the floor. Then when I brought it out two more leaves fell off. What's going on?? I'm worried about it a lot now. It has a new cane as u can see. But the leaves r falling off the old cane. Is that normal??

The Den.'s flowers looked like this. (This is not a pic of my den.)

I have owned these orchids for almost a year. So I am still very new to growing orchids.
The dendrobium needs to grow more, and store more energy. A few more psuedobulbs later and you will see flowers. So meanwhile, feed it more and give it more light.

U wanted to see my Encyclia cordigera??
I had it since it had two psudobulbs and the big one was huge and plump. Now it grew a new bulb and the oldest bulb lost its leaves and the bid bulb shrunk and the newest one is fattening up. Now the big one is losing its leaves.
Do u all this its still in good health?? I don't think it is but I could be wrong. I mean the new bulb is growing still. So it has to be in health right?? I hope I'm wrong.

Need more pix just ask.
