A Few Questions About Reblooming/blooming...
These pictures look like it is Dendrobium Green Apples. But that is really guessing. I almost bought this plant this past Sunday. I did not buy this plant as it was too tall for my environment.

The Den.'s flowers looked like this. (This is not a pic of my den.)

I have owned these orchids for almost a year. So I am still very new to growing orchids.

It's a Den-phal type.
How long have you had it?
What is it potted in?

Really?? The flower doesn't look like any den-phal type I have seen. Oh well. Thank u.
I had this one since August when I visited my parents. But most of the rest I had for nearly a year.
It was pottes in sphag and coconut husks. But last month I reported it in bettergro mix.

Most orchids only bloom on new growth (den-phals can rebloom on older canes, but may only bloom once a year). Many are seasonal bloomers. So having them less than a year, it's really too soon to know if there are cultural issues that may be preventing blooming, if they otherwise seen to be growing well.
As for the Den losing leaves - how were the roots when you repotted? How often do you water?

The roots were white before I water it and they turn a dirty white when watered. When I repoted it the roots were in like a giant ball. So it took me awhile to work everything loose. I felt the roots but they felt firm to me.

I water it when the media feels dry in the middle.

Oh when looking at the oldest cane it has no leaves at all and still green.

I know this may sound stupid BUT I was doing some digging on my own and was looking at the information found of Den-Phal and Den. noble. My question is can they be mixed??
The info I have gathered though is pointing to the Den. noble side more than Den-Phal. Growing pattern for Den. noble says that the leaves turn yellow and fall of before flowering and that they can have tall canes. But the flowers grew on a spike (at least what I assumed was a spike) so that's y I ask can a Den.noble and a Den-phal breed together to make a hybrid??
Thank you all for a lot so the help so far. U guys probably think I'm such a nobe at this. Oh well. I'll learn.

Oops sorry. I was looking at another site and found a little bit more info on den.s. so I now assume its a den-phal not a noble. So how do I get it to bloom again??
Thank u all who have replied.
