Can I nurse a rootless & leafless back to health?

One of my phals died...or at least I think it did. I'm hoping I can nurse it back to health? It's got practically no roots and both of it's leaves have fallen off (they were happy and green but BAM just fell off!) so it's just the base cluster now. Any hope for it? Maybe if I do the bag & sphag?
