Did you move the plant, or stake it, while spike was growing?

I didn't move it, it stands right next to my window. Maybe change position a bit to the left or right, but not much. I did stake it while spike was growing, this is my first spiking so I thought it should be done that way :O

for a phalaenopsis that is normal. A lot of times there is a culture change which can even change the color of the flowers. As for it being upside down, the slightest movement of the plant can cause the flowers to go crazy because they seek the sun

Although “it happens.” I think this upside down flower perhaps is also related to the clip on the end of the spike. After reading your another post My winter blooms , I noticed that you put a hook at the very end of another phal’s spike. If you did the same hook to this phal, that may be the reason why the flower confused finding its way. The end of spike is trying to bend down naturally and made a perfect arch. Some hybrids, like Queen Beer, don't make arches, and the spikes and flowers can go straight up as well without stakes.

Oh, I didn't know that I'm doing something wrong. Those are my first spikes, so I wasn't sure where to put hook...
