The new mix is working well. I really do distrust these pre packaged mixes that say they have fertilizer embedded in them.

lots of factors are involved in time release fertilizers. In the south where its too hot most of the time the release is instant. If it stays cool then it does what its suppose to do. Heat is not friendly to time release fertilizers. Nor is too much water from rain etc etc. You have to know what your doing before you can know you are doing it wrong
