I've never had a plant that made flowers, so I don't know what to expect, but this looks kinda like a flower to me. Confirm/deny?
This is a Prosthechea cochleata, and I really didn't think it was mature enough. It had two pseudobulbs when I got it a few months ago, and recently started making another one.

That looks like a spike trying to escape a small sheath. Congrats!

The plant may need a little bit more water or to be misted. Usually that is the problem for me when I get curly growth.

Thanks, you guys. I'm excited! How long will it take for this to turn into a flower?

Thanks. So I shouldn't wake up every day and to the plant to see if I have a fully formed flower?

You'll find that growing orchids requires loads of patience
