I have an Epi ellipticum ...
Epidendrum ellipticum

Lots of sun (during summer mine gets sun from fairly early morning thru mid-afternoon, media should not dry out completely, but shouldn't be soggy. Very temperature tolerant, taking short periods of both extreme heat and cold(sheltered from frost / freeze) Andy's lists them as cool, intermediate, warm growers - favoring cool temps.

Mine bloomed with less sun, but not nearly as well as it's done since being moved to a much sunnier spot.

Thank you White Rabitt. That helps a lot here in NH. Happy New Year to you.
