Forgot. I also got the "orchid in a bag" while I was there. Only one. LC Fire Dance x C. Caribbean-Orange.
Very small, not much good root, now planted in LECA the S/H way. Recovering nicely. Not much to take a picture of yet. $2.50
The only others were either same cross, or not a color I wanted. No thanks on the offer to double my money.

You can repot now if they are kept inside where it is warmer than 60*f and have some decent light. We're here to help!!! (rubs his hands gleefully). Oh yeah. We need more pictures of your haul. Leaves, rizomes, flower buds, media...... Oh I can't wait to get started!!! (continues to rub his hands gleefully).

Nah, I already did my learning lessons on expensive ones in the 2008-2009 era.
Phals from Lowes are in sphagnum. Bag O' Orchid cat/LC cross was in weird dirt/bark mix, with mostly dead roots. The three C. from the other place are in a bark mix that's "ok," just not my choice of growing method.
The phals I won't do anything with until they finish blooming, as they'll go into LECA. I want the bang for my buck.
And I was the dishwasher installer, assisting my elder daughter (it was a Xmas present). She would have had a royal hissy fit if I'd stopped to play orchids. Ya'll were trying to corrupt me. I'm already corrupt enough
The three larger Catts I am leaving alone for now, as they all have buds in sheath, just starting. If I dig them out and start cutting off stuff to put in LECA/S-H, I will lost them. If the buds don't make it, I'll replant then.
