I think it's doing very well. Good job. I wouldn't change anything right now.

I have my catts in the same medium and situation, really.

Aparently, they like wind and enough sun to put a bit of red on them especially if they have lailia in their genetics.
That extra sunlight will get you blooms. They will grow in a dimmer light, but not bloom. Look for a light situation that gets you light green leaves with a slight amount of red on the leaves. Some are happy with more red. Yellow means too much sun.

Lava is good but if the are outside you may end up watering every day. I am in New Mexico and I leave them outside all day (in January) and bring them in at night unless the temp forbids it. It is already warm enough here for Catts outside.

A lot of the time you can modify your media to accommodate your plants needs more readily. I have some plants where I have the bulk of the media as a coarse mix with a finer media on top to hold in a little more moisture. Keeps the micro environment more stable while allowing good air flow.

Looks good. Let it grow on undisturbed.

I always put big chunks of wood or lava at the bottom of the pot and just a thin layer of small bits at the top right at the "growing line" of the plant. Making sure there are also holes in the pot so the air can go in and out.
