Could someone suggest some species???
Hey I'm looking for more orchids and would like to get species instead of more hybrids so I'm looking for orchids that will love warm weather and not need temps below 65 cause that's the lowest it gets here humidity, sun, and air movement are not a prob I would like species from types that I don't have like bulbophyllums, maxillaria, phrags masdevalias etc and some from types which I only have hybrids like dendrobiums, paphiodepilums, and oncidiums.any suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks

Well, this isn't what you requested, but phal schilleriana (my spelling sucks) will give you gobs and gobs of blooms. Do a search of the board and look at what they are capable of. If you like blooms, its a species to have.
I have one but it is still too small to bloom yet, but when it does, I'll be ready.

Oh wow, what a great suggestion! I wasn't the one who did the post, but the AOS has a short article on this species. It has the benefits of a hybrid, but it's a species. I just might do a little checking on ebay....

Gosh! I think once you get into species, you have to be real specific. Oncidiums are mainly cool orchids, for examp. I believe Lailia Purpurata is a warm loving species plant. Various catleyas like warm, what about equitant oncidiums? What is your humidity like?

The humidity is almost always between 60-80% and daytime temps in winter are almost always 80-89 degrees and in the low seventies at night but in summer temps can reach 100 degrees in mid-day and is in the eighties at night also it's very windy as the beach is about 10min in car so at day time the wind is around 14mph and 7mph at night. Thanks for the suggestions so far and on a side note some equitant oncidiums are natives from here going to look into those!!!

You'd probably want to try some of the Tolumnias, they're native and widly grown.

since you have plenty of air movement and humidity I would suggest looking at miltonias ( note, not miltoniopsis ). You would be able to grow these outdoors, year round and they do like a lot of bright light/ some even dappled shade. They grow rapidly and usually have 2 spikes per pseudobulb, so they are rewarding.

Well you can cross Phrags off your list. They do not like hot weather.
There are some warm to hot growing Paphs. Sukhakulii is a warm to hot grower that is easy to grow indoor or out. Rothschildianum is a warm to hot grower, but can be very slow to mature. Sanderianum prefers temps in the mid 80's, also very slow to mature. Niveum is a hot grower and is quite small. I would think it would do quite well in your conditions. Godefroyae is lovely and likes warm to hot conditions.

Phal equestris grows like weed for most folks.
Probably be better if you specified just WHERE you preferentially would plan on growing them:
Outdoors in sun?
outdoors in shade?
Indoors?
In terraria?
That way folks have a better idea of what may work for that area.
Also are there any genera you DON'T want/like?

All orchids would go to my shade house there I have spots that receive full sun to spots that get low indirect light so lighting isn't a problem and neither is size also I would like to know if there are any warm growing bulbophyllums, or any other species that you like that would grow nicely in my conditions thanks again for the suggestions so far I really like them!!!
