Orchid resolutions for the new year
This year I am resolving to be more consistent with my watering. Sometimes I slack off and my orchids in bark have suffered for it. So this year I will be more consistent.
Also I am going to fertilize weakly at every watering and see if that helps them to bloom better.
I also resolve to get nice ceramic orchid pots for the plastic ones to slip into so they look better.
I also resolve only to buy "special" orchids and not just because they are pretty. All orchids are pretty and I need to be more choosy as my space is running out.
So what do you resolve?

To turn an old fish tank into a mini terrarium. I've meant to do this for a while, but I've been slacking.

To not spend as much money as I did this year. I'm serious. Not sustainable!

I resolve to remember to fertilize. Also to buy more mini's as I don't have much room left and I can buy more plants if they asr smaller.

I resolve to buy more than I can reasonably care for, to spend far more than my meager budget for acquiring new orchids, to completely disregard my wishlist and buy anything and everything that happens to catch my eye at the moment, and I resolve to feel guilty about all of it but get over it because oooooh aaaaah pretty things.
I don't know how I'll be able to stick to my resolution, but you all have my word, I'll try very, very hard to stick to it.

To get my first seasons of blooms from my plants. Also to try new technique to see what works were I live.
I also need to find an method that will work for my mom.

I will take a chance on some orchids that are not as "safe" and that I will need to step outside my comfort level to care for.
