My Blc Taiwan Ruby is blooming!
This is the my first Cattleya bloom. I am so excited! For you experts out there, I was wondering if I need to cut down or increase watering/fertizer? Anything that I can do to keep the bloom longer. As far as I have read from you all, that Cattleya's bloom time is rather short. Thanks.

Water as you normally would.
I don't watering affects the life span of flowers, unless of course you dry it out for a long time, then the flowers will wilt and die before its due time. lol
Cattleyas normally last for a few weeks, barely over a month if you are lucky, but not likely.
Big, colorful, fragrant flowers with a fatal weak point I guess.
Enjoy while you can.

Beautiful and so exiting to get a first bloom. Yes I guess it is a draw back that they don't' last very long but in my opinion they make up for it in beauty.

The blooms will last longer if temperatures are on the cooler side rather than the warmer side. My home temps are around 64'F in the winter and the blooms last a long time.

Gorgeous! I would agree, just keep watering it as you normally do.
