Seattle orchid has one but I am not the biggest fan of the one they have.

I have not seen one on ebay that is that pretty as a member has on here either.

I have to say I am not a paph fan but these blooms are odd enough to warrant my wanting one. I do like the small blooms on this one they are odd and different which is right up my ally.

Any suggestions? Again looked on ebay and Seattle (not that pretty or odd enough) as of yet.

I'm not clear on what exactly you are looking for.

You want Paph. fairrieanum species and want to know where you can get one online?

Hausermann's has two kinds: Green Pixie and Fox Valley. These are interesting plants, the flowers look like smiling faces.

I had good experience with Piping Rock . They have blooming sized plants listed on site:

Paphiopedilum fairrieanum ('Dark Stripes' x 'Red Zebra') (paphiopedilum species) : Piping Rock Orchids

I will be getting one in spring too.

Both suggestions already made (before I woke up haha) are good. This species is coming into blooming season now so I would just make sure you get a mature plant.

They also take a fair bit of light and sometimes people find them to be a challenging plant. It doesn't have to be though.

The other thing to 'warn' you about is that there is often a fair bit of coloration variation on this species (between red and green) so just be aware you might not get exactly what you see in any pictures. But the shape and basic flower will probably still be beautiful.

Honestly I would even take the green. Its the shape I am attracted to. Reminds me of a squid and octopus.

The 'all green' ones are a bit more rare (and expensive) so it's often a mix. You will do fine then! It's probably a good time to buy one, in light of the blooming season.

Pipingrock looks to be the winner. The red shaded one is beautiful.

Just be aware that since Paphs are grown from seed, not cloned, there will be a lot of variety in shape and color. So unless you can see it in bloom it may not be the color you expect it to be.
