Default Pregnant leaf?

I know it sounds silly, but that's what it looked like to me when I noticed it today. A week ago it was just a normal looking leaf. I'm not really familiar with Masdevallia culture, and I couldn't find anything on Google.

The roots look happy from what I can see. There's some black spotting on the leaves that I'm hoping will clear up. Looks like the grower cut some of the more badly spotted leaves.

Anyone have any insight?

That is just the new growth getting trapped inside the sheathing and getting creased. It happens as a result of insufficient humidity.

Can I save it at this point by increasing humidity or is it just going to remain that way? I was hoping by leaving it in my bathroom it would get sufficient humidity, but also get the cool temperatures it needs.

See if you can gently (!) loosen the sheath. The growth won't be perfect;y straight but it will get almost there. Tweezers can be helpful in performing this task, Good luck!

Thanks for the help! Here is an updated picture of the leaf. Hopefully once the leaf is fully open you won't be able to see the crooked stem.
