The brand Just Add Ice made me brave enough to try orchids, but like I said, I didn't water with ice more than a couple of months.

It seems that the idea of thrive vs survive makes sense. The plant might live and bloom, but not to be counted on.

Either way, I'm glad I grow orchids now. I'm up to a collection of 10 I am content *for now*.

Just follow the Baker culture for Phalaenopsis. You will never go wrong.

I've received two of these JAI orchids from a friend and since the beginning...used warm water after one week of ice. I kinda figured that I would hate for some1 to put ice on my limbs... (mom's advice)
