This looks like a good, healthy plant.
I would have left it in the moss. I have several of these just add ice mini phals (one in that exact pot actually!) and I find that the blooms on these tend to last forever as long as you leave them alone and don't repot them until they have dropped the blooms on their own.
I repotted one way too soon and it dropped all of its blooms the day after I got it. I was so bummed, but it's growing new leaves and roots for me now and I hope I will see a spike soon.
So... when I get these home this is what I do.
I set it in its spot. Then I leave it alone.
That's right. I leave it alone. I do not water it for about 7 days. They overwater these like crazy in the store and when I get them home, they are almost always water logged. So the best thing is to just let them dry out all the way. Then I water, without fertilizer. I just let the water run straight through the pot for about 5 minutes and repeat this process again the next week.
On the fourth week, I will add the plant to my regular routine. I fertilize when I water. Weakly, weekly. I use the better gro orchid plus fertilizer at one quarter strength. There are better products out there, but you can get this one at Lowe's and it works.
After it's done blooming, I wait until I see new root growth and leaf growth before I repot it into bark. All of the minis I have repotted, have gone back into the pot they came in so far, but when I have needed to upgrade, I find Jello Pudding Cups with slots cut in the side and a hole cut in the bottom, work great!
