I have not had the best of luck w catts. But this one was super healthy looking did look so pretty. Seems it should be a peach color w a splash of darker orange/red on the lip.

On a side note whwn I was digging around....water splashed all over me. Not a happy camper for that.

I went to about 4 Lowe's after reading about some peoples success here and I only found the usual phals and two very sad looking lime catts at full price at one store. I know some people have had great luck with these things but I have resigned myself to waiting until the March orchid shows....

Here they are. 2 plants in one with one in grow mode great roots. But dear heavenly father above the media smelled so bad I had to bag it and take it outside. It had broken down that badly. Yuck!

I've gotten some nice bag babies, and I've also gotten some in absolutley terrible shape. The nice ones are just great, but the nasty ones are slowly being nursed back to health. But should I really be bothering with sick plants that will take at least two years to bloom? Or toss them and make room for healthier, more mature plants?

I've had really terrible luck with the bag babies. Every one I have gotten has had no viable roots and all of them except one has died. The lone survivor I have looks pretty bad right now. Don't think I would spend any money on those again...
