Nice blooms!!

I love Psychopsis, I've have a Psychopsis Butterfly for 3 years now (or maybe it's 4??). It loves the net pot it's growing in. Each spring the newest growth spikes, and the old spikes keep blooming, so I'm up to 3 blooming spikes now. They're always flowering. A bloom lasts about a month, then it takes 4-8 weeks (depending on the time of year) for the next bud to bloom. It's such an awesome plant!

the only 'problem' is that each new spike is taller than the previous. It's getting pretty tall!

Thank you all for your nice response!
My "Hildos" has only one spike and on its third flower, so I can look forward to a long bloom time. It also has one new growth that hopefully will send up a spike in spring. Camille, if the future spike(s) gets taller, I will have to find a different place for it. It is now sitting on the top shelf of the rack and the spike is close to the ceiling. I am envious, three blooming spikes! I hope to get that many sometime in the future.

Beautiful! I've always admired these guys for their unique blooms. I really like the Psychopsis papilio 'big bird' x. 'yellow bird' for the same reason.
