What are your favorite online retailers?
For a wide selection of species at reasonable prices with reasonable shipping? I'd like to expand my collection but unfortunately there isn't much more than common phals available locally (unless anyone knows anywhere in Southern California?).
I just ordered a few cats and phals from Larry's Orchids and Tropicals and am happy. The prices were reasonable and it was well packed.

I have bought twice from Zygopetalum in Langley. I actually bought from them on ebay but they have a website and I was satisfied with what I bought. I just wish they would provide a price list with photos.

Off the top of my head....
For species....Andy's Orchids, Exotic Orchids of Maui (mostly seedling), Orchids Limited, Tropical Orchid Farm, J&L Orchids, and Miranda Orchids.
A couple of South American growers that I like...Ecuagenera and Floralia. I usually pay attention to when they'll be in the US for shows and I do a pre-order. If you can't be at a particular show/location...no worries...they will ship them to you once they are in the states. [forewarning...anything coming in from outside the country will arrive bare-root and they can be a bit dried out but w/correct cultural conditions they usually bounce back pretty quickly.]
For Ctsm and hybrid/compact catts...Sunset Valley Orchids. He also has an amazing selection of Aussie dens.
For species and novelty phals...Big Leaf Orchids.

Andy's
FYI: Andy"s is having a Black Friday Sale. I am thinking of getting some plants that I don't see often around here.
