if you are looking for cheap species and a few hybrids there is also Olympic Orchids. the mostly sell seedlings but everything i have ever ordered from them was healthy and well established. you just have to wait a few years for blooms. but it is hard to beat their $3 seedling of the month...

I absolutely love Hausermann's, Oak Hill Gardens Orchids, and Al's Orchid Greenhouse. Most of my orchids come from one of these places.

I've orders from Larry's orchid on their website and from their eBay site. So far the three orchids I've ordered have been heathy. Now they are starting to take off.
I just ordered from Hausermann's and I have yet to receive any shipping info from them. It might be due to the storm on the east coast right now.
There are a few people on esty selling orchids. Has anyone tried there?

I had the privilege of meeting Alan Koch of Gold Country Orchids last fall and I have to say the quality and prices of this orchids are excellent. He does a lot of his own breeding, so you can get unique things from him and everything I've gotten from him has thrived.

So far, since I am new to orchids, I have ordered from Larry's Orchids, and ShermanTP on ebay. The plant I received from Larry's was healthy, (It was a little bedraggled, and I think it was the last one of the type because they took it off their website right after) but I can't say it looked fantastic or anything. That's okay. It is not going to give me a spike this year, but is putting out new roots and doing okay. Another year and it night give me a show. The plant I am ordering from ShermanTP looks great in the picture on ebay. It has yet to reach me, but if it is anything like the picture, I will be highly pleased. I want to try some more orchid vendors. Has any one tried Clown Alley? Their supply looks great and they are near me here so I wonder If the shipping would be better. I will look up the orchid sellers mentioned in this thread and give their on-line shops a good look. Thanks for the thread.
I am concentrating on Oncidiums and Oncidium Alliance orchids. These are the type that seem to do best where I am.

Just wanted to second Andy's and J&L orchids. After that I like to go to specialists like Colombian Orchid Imports for Pleuros.

What are your favorite online retailers?
I don't do mail order from Clown Alley as they are just a little distance away and I can drive over there whenever I get the urge to add to my collection. John (the owner) is a member of the HOS. They have nice plants and specialize in warm growing types. I think you will be pleased by whatever you order from them.

My two favorites are both specialists but I love the quality of the plants from Marble Branch Farms and Sunset Valley Orchids.
