check on the heat mat I am kinda worried about striking the best balance between humidity and air flow. a fan blows over my grow space generally and the ICU orchids I have been putting baggies over (loosely) after I mist there roots if I notice a lot of condensation in the bag later in the day I take it off for awhile or sometimes turn it inside out the get rid of excess moisture. as Im scared of rot and mold. Another thing I was considering is setting up a light for them to try and stimulate growing season. I really want to get them as healthy as possible before spring hits and they go live with my mom while I am at work.
Orchid ICU Pics! I have my 2 worst cases in this glass together. I put a bit of water and spag in the bottom of the glass as well as a rock in case the plastic pot (from an old aquarium plant) that the two are resting in drops down to low, their roots wont be sitting in water. I've been misting/soaking them in seaweed solution and put a bag with vent holes in the top over to help keep the humidity up. they are also on the heat mat. *fingers crossed*
