Ive spoken to my friend and she says that this orchid is potted in Orchid Compost!! That doesn't sound good does it with the compost added on the end of that!! :/ I have told her to repot it in bark, there is bark in the media she has, but clearly its not big enough 'chunks' of bark. You cant blame her though, if the bag said it was suitable for orchids a lot of people would believe that, which is a shame that there's products out there that are not as great as they make out!
Ill make sure she repots as soon as possible, thanks for all the comments and help
