I don't know if you posted the picture as a joke or not but it is a fantastic cabin and I could be very happy there. Reminds me of my grand parents "homestead".

Quite agree, over here in Europe, it's the sort of picture we have of american country folk. Must admit, I'd be happy to live there, makes a change from the sea!

I love your house, dounoharm. I can smell the turkey roasting from here. It looks like life is easy living where you are.
I haven't a clue where I live. I'm in so. fla now but Calif. was my home until a few years ago. Will probably be leaving in summer but not sure if it'll be back to Calif. Wish I knew where I was going..it would really help telling the movers where to ship my belongings.

I live in Thailand. It's the cool season here at the moment.... The plants are loving it, but i'm not. Today we had a high of about 80F/30C. Perfect growing conditions for my thousands of orchids that i have.

Good Morning from the Left Coast. I live in Bakersfield, California. Weather in the summer is 90-100+ F. and Fall and winter around 50 F. days with 30-40 F. Nights. All my orchids, half the bonsais and all the Lady Gould finches are indoor house pets.

I'm in the Seacoast region of New Hampshire - which is that large National Park-like State north of Massachusetts but South of Maine, for all those not familiar with New England. We have a 4 distinct seasons: Spring (Mud Season and hungry black flies), Summer (both months of it; July and August), Fall (Yes the leave ARE beautiful here then!) and Winter. Plenty of snow and temps below 32 degrees F or 0 degrees C.
If the temperature goes above 40F anytime between December and March, we consider it a heat wave and put on shorts. Growing inside with about 150 orchids total, most under T5 lights. Wish I lived in a place to grow them outside year round, but ........ well, maybe someday.
