I now where Grand Rapids is , we passed thru in our way to Boyne , I'm sorry I have not seen Meijer Gardens and Sculpture park. I'm from Romania( place for Nigritella nigra and Cypripedium calceolus) and I live now close to Indianapolis.

Miami here. I have about 50 plants and looking forward to the next show. I think there's one in May. If I don't stop buying, my orchids and I will be taking up residence under a bridge. At least the weather 's warm.

Hampstead, Maryland about 30 miles north of Baltimore. I grow Catts and other high light orchids in my tiny greenhouse and about 60 Phals+ in the house under T5 lights.

We meet in Old Field at the Emma Clark Library. That's on the north shore by Setauket. Do you belong to Rita Cohen's group. I think they meet in Lynbrook.

No .. but I was considering sometime in the future in joining the group at Planting Fields in Oyster Bay.
Old Field is such a beautiful area .. I use to go to Port Jeff all the time and I have kayaked out of Conscience Bay, Setauket .. nothing like seafood bisque in a bread bowl in the restaurant (it's name eludes me) across from the Danford (East American Bistro, I believe it's called now). It's been a while

Hello all,
I live in the high desert area, 3500ft, just outside of Yucca Valley Ca.
I am a little jealous of all the Fl folks who can grow outside but I do love the deserts and would live nowhere else.
