Rick what do you do for a living there? I used to know Rick Barber in Houston who was a tech a Momentum Jaguaur, Porsche, Volvo. Is that who I am thinking of?

I live in Port Elizabeth , South Africa It is the southern most city in Africa The climate here is ideal for Cymbidiums The only problem is, where did the rain go? and what happened to global warming ! We have had a sudden onset of cold weather here that has killed an estimated 10000 Swallows, a month before they were to fly off to Europe

I live near Victoria, the southernmost tip on Vancouver Island which means that we are a ways south of the 49th parallel which, on the mainland, is the Canada-US border. Great climate here, very moderate with pleasant summers and lots of winters without any snow. We do our annual "flower count" at the end of February.

I live in the typical small American town of Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. It is located close to the geographic center of the state, zone 4a. We have a very short growing season, basically from the middle of May through the end of July. By August everying is on the downhill side and we usually get our first hard frost in the middle of September.
I was lucky enough to live in Corpus Christi, Tx for 10 years and still have friends there. So Texas will always be dear to my heart.

Avon NY. The western end of the state about 20 minutes south of Rochester. The winters are cold and snowy. Springs are nothing but a mud pit (you should see the horses) Summers are either very humid and hot or very dry and hot, depending on the year. And the Fall is beautiful and cool....only bad thing is that winter is soon to follow....Im not a cold weather person and I work outside. I need to move south!
