finally seeing success!!!!
Hurray! I placed alot of my orchids in my greenhouse to see if they will do better. Some had issues when I first got them now I am seeing new growth galore! Finally!
Pics are of my gramm stapleflorum that had severe issues. W new growth.
My schomburgkia throwing new roots post mounting
My mounted cattleya flask chids that were mounted immediately after being removed from the flask
And my bulbo frank smith new growth that has grown 4x's since I got it. This is my one that got lost for 4 days in transit.

Schomburgkia- the cow horn is only piece that survived.
My bulbo- I was so afraid the growth would not make it. I estimated it was most likely boxed up for a good 10 days.
The catt babies are doing better than the potted ones. One has even shot new growth. So im happy. To see that.
The gramm is the one that the seller sent w wrapped wet paper around the base. It and I have had a love hate for a while now.

So much like a lot of "rescue" orchids I have been dealing with for the past year. I think that continually educating myself, and giving them what they need is the key. I have roots, leaves and stems now. Pleased.

That's awesome. I'm glad to know other people get excited seeing a tiny shoot/root. It's only exciting on an orchid though. Every other house plant I have, I think, meh a new leaf who cares. Yet seeing two little root nubs on the oncidium that I hope I am rescuing made me smile.
