Just had a nice phone call from Andy @Andy's orchids, checking up on the white Paph. Mystic Isle (with a parentage a mile long) I had bought at his plant sale. I was happy to report that it was still blooming and looking beautiful!
He asked if I could detect fragrance, because only half of the people could. He, himself, can't smell anything, but some other people can. I thought that was very interesting. Wouldn't you know it, I belong to the group that has inadequate "sniffers".
I'll keep trying though, maybe I'll catch a wiff of something before it stops flowering.
