Hi from Australia live in the tropics won't to know if I can get monkey orchids in Australia happy to pay not sure if legal, partner wants for wedding and then after,full green fingers happy to nurture and put time and money to thrive also got spider orchids for sale. Plz any advice well worth it.

Dracula simia isn't that commonly available in the hobby. One plant costs around 32$ US (and this is for a plant that is not in bloom.) The only grower in the US that I knew had them, just sold out of them.

Dracula orchids are cool growing, they don't like their temperature to get much above 70 degrees. They also need a lot of humidity, many growers grow this species in terrariums in order to give them enough humidity. If your local climate is tropical, you will not be very successful with this species.

Mate, burleigh park orchids in Townsville deal exclusively in species. They're on the Web and may be able to assist.

Do you mean Dracula simia or Orchis simia?

I'd start Googling/Binging. AussieVanda and other's from down under are your best sources for vendors.

The Dracula is seldom seen for sale here and I don't think I've ever seen the Orchis.
