I hope my efforts are not in vain
About a year ago I went to an orchid show with a few friends and family members. While we were looking around, my sister purchased a beautiful dark waterfall Miltonia, with what I think to be the most amazing scent ever!
Well the year has gone by and so has, what is left, of this beautiful plant. Being the big brother that I am, and b/c I wanted it and she bought the last one the vendor had, took on this very sad, and very beaten up plant.
What is left is some good roots, three small but healthy bulbs and one leaf that's trying to hang on. All the other leaves have withered off or been eaten by her cats.
So my question is, How can I resurrect this plant back to what it was? I have a great care sheet for it, but is this enough? Am I wasting my time? (I hope not)
If any experts wanna see pics to determine, please let me know. I am embarrassed at how bad this is, but hopefully I can get this back to life!

I would recommend that you post a couple more times so that you can put some pictures up here for us to see. We can't really know for sure how bad off the plant is, without pics.
I will say orchids are pretty hardy. If you wanted to invest the time it will take, you can save many orchids from almost all sorts of conditions, but we really need the pics in order to know for sure.
Don't feel embarrassed. We've all killed a few orchids in our time! It's part of the learning process I think.

So the first pic is when my sister first got it a year ago. The other pics, well, they are now.
Thank you so much in advanced for helping me out

I would just dampen the three pbulbs about every week or so. Put it in a moderate to bright light and keep it warm. The biggest pbulb will most likely put out a new growth after awhile. I will come from the base of the biggest pbulb.

I think Ive seen much, MUCH worse in my three short months on the orchidboard. Given the right care id say recovery is highly likely. I commend you for saving it
