Bill U, yes, I enjoy the flower, even though I didn't make it happen. I buy almost everything in bud or bloom so I can see the flower(s) at least once, in case I can't make it bloom again.
Paph. Pinocchio (last picture) is blooming the second time in my care and Paph. wardii for the first time.
Paph. fairrieanum was not in bud/bloom when I bought it, but I saw a picture of it and had to have it.

Thank you silken! When I first posted pictures of the bud and the info on the tag, someone here suggested that I google Hanne Popow to get an idea of what the flower will look like. I didn't understand that he/she meant it WAS Hanne Popow.

Bessae and its hybrids are pretty, aren't they? I've got my eyes on the kovachiis too. Huge and quite unlike other phrags I've seen. Right now bloom sized plants are selling for a few hundred each though

Yes, they are pretty. This is my first and only Phrag. I hope it stays on the smaller side, I don't have room for a monster. I got it on ebay, nobody bid on it so I got the little guy for$30.-
