Im so jealous of that sunroom set-up!!!

Back to the original point of the thread, I use the Crane drop humidifier. I just use regular tap water and cleanit as directed. Without it running, my bedroom (my growing area) would be approximately 10% humidity, but I'm able to run it on high during winter and get humidity up to 40-50% or so around my plants. Granted, I do have a small room, but it is well worth the effort of filling it 2x/day to make it more comfortable for me AND my orchids. You can't hear it run and I have it on the top shelf of my grow rack so the cool mist cascades down the rack.
