Amazing pic of the Iwan. Apple Blossom, D.

I have one of those- small yet.

Tons of good info here. +++

Also, (thread veer)- this has to be one of the fastest-growing message boards I've ever seen. Amazing.

Ooh I'm actually selling this spiking Iwa. Apple Blossom, wanted to keep it but my aunt hates how it's taking up too much space. If it really gets sold before it blooms then too bad for her.

Phalaenopsis bastianii is fragrant? I thought it wasn't, oh well good news for me!

So far I'm in love with Phal. bellina's scent, it's like heaven sniffing its alluring fragrance while watering the plants in the morning!

Default I bought mine at Oak Hill and I really

like it. I don't think there's many Phals that are fragrant, are there?

Another one of my favorites I didn't mention before

(I know Sue will agree with me on that one! )
For Sure!!! I wish they'd come out with an air freshener that smells like Iwan Apple Blossom...it just makes me smile

I've been avoiding this thread because I'd be fooling myself (and nobody else ) if I said I could pick a favorite but I have come up with a few:

For fragrance, Iwan Apple Blossom and Phal bellina
In general, my favorite Phal is Phal equestris. I also love anything that has C Chocolate Drop in it (my C Chocolate Drop 'NOK' is in bud right now, waiting patiently and checking it every few hours to see if it's bloomed yet ), all of the Phaiocalanthe Kryptonite orchids, my favorite mini is Den tetragonum and as for most elegant, any pure white in the Cattleya family.

Check the page before this one, Gregg .. Terri gives a link to Big Leaf Orchids to a page of fragrant phals and I listed species and some hybrids known to produce scent.
