The plant that I bought as Den. linguiforme is actually a Dockrillia, so inadvertently I have tried one! IOSPE PHOTOS Unfortunately, the two that I would most like to have (rigida and bowmanii) are warm to hot growers, and wouldn't survive very long in my growing conditions.

If you can at all provide the conditions for cuthbertsonii - go for it! The are such cute little plants, even when not in flower. Plus there seem to be so many colour variations, you could potentially build a collection just of them.

I have 2 that I will always have space for.....
Brassavola Nodosa and Phal. bellina. I'm a fragrance person and those are 2 of the best for aroma.

I have more than one favorite. I'd even say I love all orchids! They all have a distinctive beauty.

However, if I had to pick favorites, I'd go with Vandas, Angraecums, Cattleyas, and Dendrobiums.

Tess! For the sake of all fragrant orchids - You must look into Iwan. Apple Blossom ..it is one of the best fragrances in the orchid world!
and the flowers are delicate and elegant!
Another one of my favorites I didn't mention before

(I know Sue will agree with me on that one! )
