Good luck! Took me 5 years to get this one to flower. It's now in full sun during most of the day, including the hottest hours of the day. It should be lime green leaves with a slight purple tint on the stems.

It's a vigorous and fast-growing plant normally.

Oh I know texas sun here sun is moving on us and I had to move mine around because even my best sun lovers were starting to burn.

wow full sun for you must be some serious sun, lol. Mine are bright lime green in my west facing window seems to be happy happy happy now that i am watering it correctly.

actually, it looks a little more like a dendrobium moscatum to me....mine would grow nice big stalks then some of them would drop their leaves and bloom...they are very attractive flowers, but not long lived....I wish I could find my pics of it, but unfortunately they are lost...
