My parcel arrived today........ in a big sturdy box and filled with shredded newspaper. Each phal was delicately wrapped in kitchen towel and cellophane and newspaper.
They seem fine and are lovely phals in bloom also I will post some pictures tomorrow.
I have popped them on windowsill to acclimatise to temp as its been a bit chilly the last few nights whilst it was in transport. I shall also soak them both tomorrow.
So my experience of buying on the net from overseas and shipping has so far been good

Thanks Rowangreen, this is remedy recommended by Bud, whom I respect greatly and his knowledge is superb, and it is a mix of liquid cinnamon (not the dry powder), dish washer liquid and water, and it is recommended to protect from fungus to spread.

Happy orchid nursing TOMMYMIAMI! they'll live, you'll see!
Lilac, please, do not be scared, this is out of ordinary experience! There are dozens absolutely amazing sellers in the USA that we all order from and I can guarantee you, you will receive your plants in beyond perfect condition!!! - Kawamoto on eBay has immaculate packing, and so does Andy's orchids, and Tropical Orchid Farms, as well as Seattle orchids. There are many many others, research this forum and vendors feedbacks and you will see for yourself! I did order in last 4 months probably some 40 times! and I had only 2 bad experiences - this one and than order from Royal Orchid Club, who is importing plants from Malaysia, so pretty much the same condition! But all US orders were amazing!

I do want to try ordering from Orchids by Hausermann, though, has anyone done that? Have you, Tommy? They're here in the US, though, so maybe it's just the fact that overseas the plants have to travel in cargo beds of planes that can make it more scary for them? Idk.

I'm a little nervous ordering online now too, lol.
Butterfly, please don't be scared, please read the answer here I did for Lilac, there is dozens of great US sellers! I have never ordered from Orchids by Hausermann but I heard great feedbacks for them, check the vendors feedbacks on this board!

Just beware of using it on plants in spike. I used it on my Colmanara in spike, and it stopped growing for about a month and a half (during the time span of a few doses.) But I realized it had halted the growth of the spike and stopped, eventually the reward was a 4 ft branching spike covered with about 30 blooms, instead of a spike with no branches and 10 flowers.
wow, thanks much ovanoshio, I did get aspirin, and I will make a bath of aspirin and seaweed for them tomorrow. There is absolutely none from that order in spike, so all good there, and I would actually even experiment with the one in spike to get results like you did, sound very promising!
