Am so glad u finally -after a nerve wrecking time got your parcel.
Some are looking a bit sorry for themselves, but i'm sure with your careful attention and lots of TLC you can celebrate : when you rescue them back from the brink!
Fingers crossed and thinking of you.
Do keep us all informed, I was itching to find out the outcome when I got home from work, I went straight on the PC to find out!!
On a similar note - I have ordered 2 phalaenopsis from the Netherlands and am awaiting their delivery. TNT say its out for delivery today so fingers crossed mine are Ok. I have ordered a Mini Mark and Tying Shing Ruby x Taipei Gold.

Many many thanks l1sav! I am going to spray the bad looking one with physan today, and spray the rest of my plants with Bud's remedy - home cinnamon mix, so there will be hopefully no spread of anything. The rest, well, will see, I hope they will pull through. Let us know how did your package from Holland arrive?:-)

Tommy, try spraying and drenching them with 325mg (1 tablet) of aspirin per gallon. In theory, this hormone should help stressed plants (during acclimation, after deflasking etc).
From reading other threads, the seller seems to be a honest person, so I'm sure things will work out.

Regarding the seller, I d not think I stated ever his website or name, however I know only he is out on the trip in Taiwan so maybe not online, still waiting for the reply. However, today when taking care of the last Bulbo medusae, I realized that this division is not even 3 bulbs division as I heard they should be for the Bulbos when you divide them (3 or more bulbs should be sufficient). This medusae has 4 leaves and bulbs, but they are separated one bulb cuttings just mounted together, which is very disappointing. I know I won't order from there again, no matter what will happen with our communication right now, these are not the plants I want to buy:-)

And on the positive note, since I really love Bulbophyllums and the ones I received are not as expected, I did went to Seattle Orchids website yesterday after the long day spent with these Thailand guys, and ordered this amazing looking Bulbophyllum ecornutum, and since orchids should never travel alone, I added one Masdevallia erinacea (mini for hygrolon cylinder instead of the stolen minis), and also the amazing looking Cymbidiella rhodochila. I pre-ordered from them also Dendrobium cucumerinum some month ago (I just love this "pickle" Dockrillia), so the end of this month will be nice mini Christmas for me:-)

LOL sounds good!
Be a bit careful with the cinnamon: it can be drying. It might be an idea to rinse it off well.

I haven't ordered any plants online as of yet. I was considering it and researching some reviews of several companies, but.....I think I'll hold off on that for now... I skeered!
Although I have seen some youtube videos where the orchids have arrived in pristine condition, but I think it was interstate...

I am super lucky, I think, that I live close by to Al's Orchid Greenhouse in Virginia, lol. I want my fiance to take me there for Christmas =X
I do want to try ordering from Orchids by Hausermann, though, has anyone done that? Have you, Tommy? They're here in the US, though, so maybe it's just the fact that overseas the plants have to travel in cargo beds of planes that can make it more scary for them? Idk.
I'm a little nervous ordering online now too, lol.

aspirin
It works. It stimulates the plant immune system, but initially slows growth because the plant uses the energy it has to isolate fungal and bacterial issues. It might be good to use 1 tablet per gallon (mix well to dissolve) and some superthrive to stimulate root growth. You gotta love it when you can get dollar store aspirin! always use uncoated.
Just beware of using it on plants in spike. I used it on my Colmanara in spike, and it stopped growing for about a month and a half (during the time span of a few doses.) But I realized it had halted the growth of the spike and stopped, eventually the reward was a 4 ft branching spike covered with about 30 blooms, instead of a spike with no branches and 10 flowers.
