This is supposed to be BLC Waianae Leopard "Ching Hua". Not even close. Came to me nearly dead. Finally got some good pbulbs without guignardia and soft rot on them. First bloom. Hope you like it. Also the first opening on my huge phal rescue. Spike is now 42 inches with 4 side branches. Hope it blooms them all at the same time. Also a C. Intermedia hanging around. Had it a long time. Has 7 sheaths on it.

Thank you Hannah. My first love and the thrill for me is growing them. I usually get them near death and when I can get them to produce flowers it is an extra thrill. Just don't always trust the tags they come with. I have had a few surprises.

The first two are Cattleyas/Catt hybrid. Blc. is Brassolaeliocattleya.

Lovely blooms! Very rewarding when they recover from near death.

Thank you all. I just wonder what the heck the first one is because it came with the tag. The tag was initially locked in a tight embrace by some good roots so had been there a long time. But it is not Waianae Leopard.
