The cattleyas will be fine, don't worry. We had a long-time cattleya grower speak to our OS and, in the winter, he only heats his greenhouse to 45'F. Our plants our definitely spoiled!

That makes me feel better, lol, I woke up and realized it was cold so I looked at my phone for the temperature and was like :O!!! I woke my fiance up by yanking the blinds up and pulling the plants out of the window, haha.
They do weird things when you mistreat them, don't they? I moved my beallara from moss to CHC and it sulked, wrinkled ALL of its pbulbs, and then put up a new growth and a spike after sulking for two months...like...wtf? Lol. They are so funny.
