Den-Phals seem to love the overall climate here in South Florida so they seem to put up with a lot of "stuff" without much complaint. I have some that are several years old. They bloom without fail several times a year, despite hanging under the canopy of a Wax Jambu tree which allows nearly zero sun beneath it and some winter nights approaching freezing temps...sometimes neglect in watering and nutrient enrichment. Still they grow and flower strong! I'm not saying to do these mean things to yours, just sayin'......

I'm in Maryland, though, lol. So it doesn't stay as warm year round like it does for you. =\
