Yes, paphs are super popular with my society. They remind everyone when to add the lime or oyster shell to the calcium-loving paphs.
I grew two paphs for a while in lava rock (watered daily) and they really did well. I had them on a table over the heating vent so they were toasty, then put them in a shady spot outside in the summer. I had a maudi-type and a lynnleigh koopowitz. After a while, I lost interest and found them a new home.
I don't know if we will have a display. There has been no mention of one or a need for orchids. I know several people from our society are going. My youngest kid has a competition so I have to stay on this side of the state. It sounds pretty amazing.
